How It Works
Safety First
Every HONOR member must pass a mandatory background check, screening for violent crimes to ensure a safer dating experience. It’s a simple step for peace of mind, creating a community built on trust and accountability.
Show, Don’t Tell
Instead of crafting a sales pitch in a long-winded profile—where 53% of users admit to lying about details like age, height, weight, and occupation—HONOR lets you show who you are through your check-ins at the places you visit. These check-ins power our matching algorithm, connecting you with people who share your interests. The more you check in, the smarter your matches become. Plus, frequent check-ins across multiple categories can land you in our weekly Honorable Mentions, spotlighting you beyond your matches. Every check-in also earns reward points, redeemable for gift cards to your favorite retailers.
Our No Has You Saying Yes
NO Endless Profiles or Exhaustive Filters: Just photos, age, and location. Because until you meet, those are the only details that actually matter. Religion, politics, job title, height—they’re either trivial or too nuanced to define with a single label. We won’t let you filter out the wrong people who just might be the right ones.
NO In-App Messaging: Skip the endless penpal chats. Our automated system gets you off the app and out on real dates, clinking glasses instead of typing messages.
NO Awkward Check Moments: Before your date, choose “I pay” or “We pay” to keep the vibe smooth and stress-free when the check arrives.
NO Ghosting: After each date, you’ll answer a few quick questions, including if you’d like to see them again. If it’s mutual, we’ll let you both know—it’s that simple.
Cheers to the “No’s” worth toasting!
Earn Rewards
Every time you check in, we get better understanding of who you are so we can find who you're looking for.
Plus, each check-in earns you points that add up to a gift card to retailers of your choice.
So even on those dates that don’t quite spark, you’re still one step closer to a little treat for yourself. Worst case? A free coffee or something from your favorite store.
Because dating should be rewarding.
